What's with the weather...

In a couple of weeks, the pools usually open around here. The last few days...and the rest of the week, the highs are only going to be in the 50's! Norms are in the 70's! Crazy! Plus, I now have a nasty cold, (and cold's make me grumpy!). I need some sun!!! Ok, there's my complaint of the day (and week). Good news is, I now have a new SLR Nikon digital camera with a macro and zoom lens. I've no idea how to operate it yet, but I have managed to take photos and get them on my laptop. Baby steps right! I can't wait to get out and start playing with my new toy!

This painting I call Shade Trees, is currently available for sale on ebay. Just click on the link at the above right to view this and the other paintings I have up for auction this week.

Nothing to say

Ever have one of those weeks where you just don't have anything you want to say on your blog? Well, this is one for me. Those of you who know me well would find that shocking...I'm sort of known for being a bit "chatty". But, I think I'm talked out, mostly because I had a wonderful, but busy weekend, and I'm working on finals for school. So....enjoy the "silence" and here's an upcoming painting.

This painting will be available for sale on ebay after May 12. Just click on the link at the above right to see the current paintings I have up for auction. "Rain Clouds Approach", 5 x 7 oil on board.

Rain, rain, rain!!!

It has been raining like crazy here! I think we're like 11 inches ABOVE normal. It's a good time for some still life work. I thought I would post a few wip photos of this fun little one from a week or two ago. I've been calling it Skulls And Roses. I've really got a thing for teacups these days. I don't drink tea, so I've no idea why! LOL!

The landscape will be available for sale on ebay after 4/28/2011.

It's Raining!!!

Ok, so most folks visiting Florida aren't happy when it rains here. However, there has been a great lack of rain this winter. Brush fires and watering restrictions have been in the news every night. We watched the clouds move in this evening, and I got to enjoy the storm move in. (One of my favorite things to watch.) Of course, this painting has nothing to do with that. It's from a cool morning (early) at the beach.
